For this cognac, Ferrand selects a few unique, aged eaux-de-vie, originally produced by André and Abel Ferrand, the grandfather and great-grandfather of founder Pierre Ferrand. This exceptional cognac, due to its advanced age, boasts an impressive dark mahogany color and a refined and complex nose with pleasant aromas of walnuts, as well as fruit, vanilla, leather, wood, and spicy and floral notes. These wonderful impressions are echoed on the palate, which also reveals wonderfully intense notes of rancio, cocoa, and narcissus.
