For ten generations, Pierre Ferrand's family has cultivated the finest wines on their own 30-hectare estate, crafting them using traditional methods. Today, the family business is one of the few Cognac houses known for distilling only the juice from their own vineyards (Bouilleur de Cru). Pierre Ferrand is the founder of the Pierre de Segonzac Cognac brand and the House's Master Blender. He created this exceptional Grande Champagne Premier Cru Cognac VSOP, made from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes. After distillation in traditional copper pot stills, it was aged in select Limousin oak barrels. This captivating and intense Cognac VSOP displays a beautiful copper color and tantalizes the nose with notes of dried fruit and honey. A smooth entry leads to a rounded, off-dry, medium-bodied palate with toffee and baked fruit flavors. Its delicious, fruit-forward finish is long, with hints of brownish spice and crème brûlée. Enjoy it neat or on the rocks to soften its intensity, as an aperitif.
