This XO Sélection des Anges is named after the vapors of "Angel's Share" that escape from the cask during the aging process. This XO cognac therefore boasts a beautiful dark mahogany color and impresses with the typical aromas of a mature, elegant cognac from the Grand Champagne region. The nose detects fragrant notes of toasted brioche, candied fruit, and cinnamon. Rich, round, and complex, the Cognac XO Sélection des Anges reveals itself on the palate with intense notes of candied fruit (fig, apricot, quince), spices, and floral notes. Its finish is long and lingering with subtle aromas of toasted bread, delicate hints of chocolate, and light notes of candied fruit.
