Puntacana Club Rums are a line of rums belonging to the Oliver & Oliver company and named after the Punta Cana Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic (the self-proclaimed "paradise on earth"). They are described as "light to medium-bodied" rums. Puntacana Rums are aged using the Solera method, in which a certain percentage of the contents of the oldest barrel is blended with the contents of the next oldest barrel. Puntacana Rum Club Muy Viejo is a blend of Cuban and Dominican rums. This dark rum displays beautiful notes of wood and sugar syrup and has a creamy finish.
