The Quinta do Infantado 10YO Tawny is an exquisite port wine from the family-run Quinta do Infantado port wine house, embodying the renowned estate's 200-year history, rich tradition, and artisanal expertise. Quinta do Infantado was also the first Portuguese winery to produce and sell only wines made from grapes grown on its own vineyards. This 10YO Tawny is a blend of exceptional wines made from the finest grapes of various ancient grape varieties from the Douro Valley—one of the oldest and most celebrated wine regions in the world—and has been aged for ten years in oak barrels. The elegant port wine is distinguished by its dark, amber hue, a result of the slow maturation in oak casks. On the nose, it initially unfolds a complex bouquet of fresh, fruity notes alongside citrus, dried fruit, caramel, nuts, and a hint of vanilla and licorice. On the palate, it is silky and well-structured, with aromas of figs, dates, roasted almonds, and a subtle hint of spices, culminating in a long, velvety finish.
