The characteristic, subtle maltiness of this Old Tom Gin is based on a malting of malted barley, combined with an infusion of select botanicals in neutral distillates. From this foundation, Ransom Old Tom Gin The Geezer was created, adding further depth and richness to the classic style by aging it for three to five years in used French oak wine barrels. On the nose, rich aromas of incense, cedar, and orange oleo-saccharum unfold, accompanied by exotic notes of cardamom and teak. On the palate, it reveals a full, rounded mouthfeel with hints of caramel and malty pastries, complemented by delicate notes of lemon pastilles and coriander.
