Product information "Reimonenq Rhum Blanc Agricole Centenaire 0.7L -GB-"

Distillerie Reimonenq was founded in 1916 by Joseph Reimonenq, Consul General of Guadeloupe. A passionate rum enthusiast, he planted his first sugarcane plantations between the sea and the mountains in Sainte Rose, Guadeloupe. In the 1960s, his son, Léopold Reimonenq, took over the business. Full of ambition, he continuously modernized production techniques and recipes. Through his great dedication, he was a key promoter of Guadeloupean rum. This 2015 vintage rum boasts a crystal-clear color and comes from a year with an exceptionally bountiful sugarcane harvest. What makes it so special? It benefited from a long aging period of five years in stainless steel tanks with regular stirring. Reimonenq Rhum Blanc Agricole Centenaire presents itself as a sweet and refined rum, highly regarded at tastings. On the nose, it reveals wonderful notes of fresh sugarcane. It smells as if the sugarcane has just been cut. On the palate, wonderful aromas of red fruits unfold, underscored by seductive herbal notes. The finish is pleasantly generous and long-lasting.
