The exceptional Rhum Ardent Muscat Barrel Finish BIO from Paraguay is based on the finest molasses, derived from chemical-free sugarcane, which is meticulously handcrafted and distilled according to the highest ecological standards. The initial three-year aging period took place in Liège, Belgium, in former Belgian whisky oak casks. This innovative rum then received its three-month finishing touch in ex-Muscat casks from the French wine region of Rivesaltes. This dual character combines the woody and dry notes from the whisky cask with the sweet and fruity notes from the Muscat cask, ultimately giving the rum a wonderfully harmonious balance that makes it so appealing to connoisseurs and enthusiasts. Aromas of dried fruit, honey, exotic spices, and a delicate Muscat note unfold on the nose. On the palate, it is exotic and robust with subtle hints of caramel and vanilla.
