Ardent Rhum Vermeil Maury Barrel Finish BIO is an exceptional organic rum that embodies craftsmanship, terroir, and the art of aging. Made from pure sugarcane juice and organic molasses from Central America, it represents sustainability, naturalness, and quality in every drop—a true statement of conscious enjoyment. After distillation, the rum matures for three years in ex-bourbon barrels made of American oak. It is then finished for a further three months in casks from the Clos des Vins d'Amour winery in Roussillon, which previously held the renowned Maury sweet wine. This double maturation imparts its elegant aromas, depth, and a touch of Mediterranean warmth. On the nose, soft vanilla notes unfold, accompanied by a pleasant smokiness and subtle fruit. On the palate, it is round, velvety, and balanced with a delicate sweetness, subtle oak spice, and a harmonious, slightly mineral finish.
