Rosso was the color reserved for emperors in the Roman Empire. The foundation of this Rossi Capri Vermouth is the finest wines of Piedmont and select botanicals from the Italian peninsula. However, it is a "Vermouth di Torino," produced by infusing various roots and herbs, such as Roman and sweet wormwood, yarrow, angelica, bay leaf, bitter orange, red gentian bark, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg, cloves, and marjoram, in hydroalcohol. The distillate then rests for eight months in French oak barrels, which strengthens its body and structure, resulting in a magnificent combination of premium aromas. Its color is a dark amber, and the nose reveals complex, well-integrated notes of bitter orange, coriander, and a hint of gentian with spicy notes from the wood. Pleasantly assertive on the palate, intense and persistent with fruity and bittersweet notes. Each bottle captures the essence and passion of the Italian lifestyle.
