It is made from the aromatic resin, also known as "tears" (Mastiha), of the mastic tree, which grows only on the beautiful island of Chios. The mastic resin is carefully harvested, then macerated in alcohol and gently distilled in a copper pot still to preserve its unique aromas. The entire production process follows traditional methods passed down through generations. The result is an exceptional, dark-colored liqueur with an intense, rich aroma that offers the connoisseur an unparalleled taste experience.
