The Paulsen Collection Bas Armagnac 30YO 1977 0.7L -GB-

Product information "The Paulsen Collection Bas Armagnac 30YO 1977 0.7L -GB-"

This Armagnac from the Paulsen Collection is a rare vintage bottling from 1977. Produced by the traditional French house Notre Dame Domaine de Bouit, the distillate of the finest Folle Blanche and Baco grapes from the Gascony region was aged for 30 years in select Monlezun oak barrels, essential for maturing an exceptional Armagnac. This extraordinary Armagnac was bottled exclusively for the Paulsen Collection by Millèsime & Tradition from the Domaine's last remaining barrel. Bas-Armagnac 30YO 1977 displays a rich golden amber color. On the nose, it reveals light notes of oak, dried fruit, and vanilla with a touch of floral spice and a hint of cedar and mocha. On the palate, this exceptional Armagnac initially presents itself as quite spicy. These are complemented by notes of rich fruitcake with dried plums and oak spice, preserved orange, and a touch of tannin. It impresses with its complex and beautifully persistent aromas, which lead into a pleasantly long, intense, and slightly fiery finish.
