The Two Drifters Distillery was founded by Russ and Gemma Wakeham, a married couple from Devon. The name Two Drifters comes from Gemma, who walked down the aisle to the song "Moon River" on her wedding day – with the line "Two drifters off to see the world," which became a symbol of their shared journey. Two Drifters combines rum, science, innovation, and passion, placing the highest value on sustainability and environmental awareness. The distillery operates entirely electrically and is powered exclusively by renewable energy. This concept is complemented by the use of electric vehicles, eco-friendly packaging, sustainable courier services, and a resource-efficient website. The new, minimalist bottle design also significantly reduces material usage and contributes to lowering the environmental impact. The Pure White Rum is made from pure molasses and is a blend of pot and column still distillates. Crystal clear and clean, it presents itself on the nose and palate with fresh notes of vanilla, apple, white pepper, and a hint of lime zest. Ideally suited for a Grapefruit Daiquiri or as a White Rum & Tonic.
