Due to various external factors, the distillery had to cease operations in 1986. In 2006, William Hinton's heirs resumed production of high-quality rums, aiming to recapture the glory and success of earlier years. This premium William Hinton Rum 6 Anos is in a league of its own; a true insider tip for rum connoisseurs! Matured for six long years in French oak barrels, it is a distinctive and complex rum, smooth and sweet on the palate, with a light dark brown color. The palate initially perceives delicate sweet aromas with a hint of well-balanced acidity, supported by woody notes, dry nutty notes and beautiful vanilla.
