William Hinton Rum Limited Edition 6YO Aged in French Brandy Cask is a unique and exclusive blend of a six-year-old rum and a 25-year-old rum, which then undergoes a multifaceted finishing process for nine months in a former French Cognac cask. The rum captivates with its mesmerizing amber color, impressively clear with shimmering copper highlights. The nose is greeted by a rum of exceptional aromatic intensity. At its heart are perfectly balanced notes of toasted wood, chocolate, and a blend of hazelnuts, roasted almonds, and walnuts. Subtle notes of vanilla, leather, and vegetal undertones such as hay develop later. An authentic, medium-bodied rum, the palate is treated to a delicious sweetness and a warm, complex character. The rum remains true to its spicy nature, with rich notes of resin, licorice, black pepper, vanilla, and cinnamon. These are joined by citrus aromas and notes of dried fruits such as peaches, raisins, and prunes, which perfectly complement the spices. Its finish is dry and remarkably long.
