Since 1877, Bodegas Williams & Humbert has stood for the great Sherry tradition of Jerez, preserving exceptional qualities from the heart of the region in its historic solera systems. The Canasta 30 Years Cream Sherry is produced from the Palomino and Pedro Ximénez grape varieties and originates from the renowned vineyards of Jerez Superior, particularly Pago Balbaína. Through extended oxidative aging in the solera system, this Sherry develops its impressive depth, complexity, and elegant sweetness. In the glass, it displays a dark mahogany hue with bright copper highlights. The nose unfolds an intense bouquet of tobacco, cedar, and spices, accompanied by toasted sugar, toffee, and dried fruits such as peaches, figs, and plums, complemented by delicate vanilla notes. On the palate, it is sweet yet elegant, with a velvety texture, a fresh structure, and a harmonious balance of fruit, spice, and mature oak. The finish is long, complex, and extremely expressive. This sherry unfolds particularly beautifully when slightly chilled, as an accompaniment to nuts, creamy cheeses, or as a stylish end to a meal.
