Zafra 30YO Aged Rum is the result of a legendary master blender's talent, perseverance, and meticulous attention to detail. This 30-year-old luxury rum debuted at the VIP Tasting Bar of the 2016 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival, much to the surprise of many serious rum connoisseurs, where it was enthusiastically received. Due to its extended aging process in specially selected ex-bourbon oak barrels in Panama's tropical climate, Zafra 30YO displays a beautiful dark mahogany color. Aromas of succulent old oak and rich dark fruit lead to buttery, dark caramel and vanilla. On the palate, it is wonderfully balanced with notes of bitterwood, vanilla, and honey blossom, transitioning into a warm and complex mid-palate with hints of sherry and bourbon. The exceptionally long finish remains very balanced until the very end. Zafra 30YO Aged Rum is a luxury limited edition of only 6,720 bottles worldwide.
