Product information "Zu Plun Grappa Pinot Noir 0.5L"
Pinot Noir, also known as Pinot Noir or Pinot Nero depending on the region, is one of the most important noble grape varieties and a classic red wine from cooler wine-growing regions. In Italy, the majority of the vineyard area is located in the northern zones, such as South Tyrol, where this bright ruby-red wine has been cultivated for over 150 years. This single-varietal specialty is distilled from the pomace of small wineries, such as the Stroblhof estate in Eppan. This estate is known for its Pinot Noir Pigeno with its delicate bouquet of Morello cherries and its special Riserva, which is only produced in exceptional vintages. Selected, healthy, and fully ripe grapes from the best sites and old vines guarantee an elegant charm with balanced tannins and subtle aromas. The master distiller at Plunhof knows how to bring these qualities to life once again in his grappa. On the nose, the Pinot Noir Grappa unfolds aromas of fully ripe cherries, wild berries, and a hint of bitter almond. On the palate, the distillate is powerful, with very pronounced tannins that give way to soft, lightly fruity notes. Its finish is mild and long-lasting.
