Braud & Quennesson Signature du Chai Rhum Agricole ESB originates from southern Martinique and is produced on the sun-drenched grounds of Habitation Grand-Fonds. For this special edition, select rums mature for twelve months in small oak barrels, including used American and freshly toasted French oak, which impart exceptional depth and complexity to the rum. In the glass, it displays a luminous amber hue. The nose reveals floral notes, bitter orange, candied herbs, and a gentle wood spice. On the palate, the rum is powerful and clearly structured, yet balanced, with aromas of citrus fruits, spices, toasted herbs, and fine wood. Subtle roasted notes and a delicate natural sweetness complement the flavor profile. The finish is long, spicy, and pleasantly smooth with a soft warmth and aromatic depth. This Rhum Agricole is excellent for sipping neat and also showcases its elegant, expressive structure in sophisticated cocktails.
