It consists of 15 of the finest Solera and Vintage rums from the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, and Trinidad. This unique Reserva Extra Ultimo blend received its finishing touch of eight months in ex-Cognac casks, allowing its rich aromas to fully develop. The nose detects pleasant notes of exotic fruits, banana, vanilla, and subtle coffee. On the palate, fruity notes unfold, followed by sweet aromas of vanilla and chocolate, underscored with a hint of Cognac cask influence. The finish is fruity, sweet, and long-lasting. Espero Reserva Balboa is a tribute to the famous explorer, conqueror, and governor Vasco Núñez de Balboa, who explored the American continent as a navigator in the early 16th century and was the first of the Spanish explorers to reach the Pacific Ocean overland. Espero Dos Continentes is a new premium rum-based spirit in the portfolio of the world-renowned Ron Espero brand. This exceptional spirit has undergone a triple aging process. First, the distillate matured for six years in an ex-bourbon barrel at its place of origin. This was followed by four more years of aging using the Solera method, initially in an ex-sherry cask and then in an ex-Banyuls cask. This fusion of three cultures—Caribbean, Spanish, and French—hence the name Espero Dos Continentes, creates an incredible harmony of taste and aroma. The result: an excellent spirit with a sugar content of 30g/L, blended from the finest, hand-selected, and aged Barbadian rums.
