This Ron Arehucas Carta Oro Rum is produced by Destilerias Arehucas, located on the Canary Island of Gran Canaria. Although founded in August 1884 as La Fábrica, the company was renamed Destilerias Arehucas in 1965. Initially, Arehucas Rum was only known and loved in Spain, but it quickly gained a reputation beyond its borders. The company prides itself on having one of the best and oldest rum cellars in Europe. This rum is distilled in column stills and then aged in American white oak barrels. Arehucas Carta Oro Rum (Oro means gold) has a magnificent deep golden hue and reveals itself as a well-balanced rum with a well-defined and light aroma. Delicate, soft spice notes stand out, along with hints of sweet vanilla and citrus aromas such as orange peel. Its presence and authentic flavor leave their mark on every cocktail or long drink. Highly recommended as a beginner's rum!
