Austrian Empire Navy Rum Reserve Double Cask Malt Whiskey 0.7L -GB-

Product information "Austrian Empire Navy Rum Reserve Double Cask Malt Whiskey 0.7L -GB-"

The Albert Michler Distillery traces its roots back to the Austrian Albert Michler liqueur, rum, and spirits factory, founded in Buchsdorf in 1863. Today, the distillery, established by descendants of the founder, is located in Bristol, England. This carefully selected blend of the finest Dominican rum was aged for 16 to 21 years in oak barrels using the Solera system. It then matured for a further 2 to 16 months in former single malt Scotch whisky casks for its elegant finish. The result is a symphony in which fruit, oak, and the extended maturation perfectly complement each other. Austrian Empire Navy Rum Reserve Double Cask Whisky displays an impressive deep golden color with dark red highlights and reveals a unique rum style with an unmistakable character. On the nose, the aromas are perfectly balanced between malt whisky and aged rum. The palate reveals distinct hints of smoke along with an inviting sweetness, balanced by notes of honey. Very ripe cherries are followed by notes of black pepper, chocolate, dried fruit, and aged wood. The finish is long and very smooth.
