Old Bert Jamaican Spiced is a premium spirit made from 100% Jamaican rum distilled using the pot still method, blended with a natural macerate of various botanicals such as Persian lime, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger, and peppercorns. This delicious Jamaican spiced rum spent at least five years maturing in select American oak barrels. The nose offers the typical Jamaican rum style: intensely aromatic with subtle citrus notes. The palate reveals similar characteristics, accompanied by pleasantly sweet notes of fruity lemon and lovely vanilla – overall, slightly spicy. The eye-catching bottle label depicts "Old Bert" wearing a top hat, intentionally omitting any facial features, surrounded by colorful, fantastical symbols from paradise, including bizarre creatures such as a toucan, a monkey, a flying lizard, a snake, and much more. This Old Bert is blended with a natural macerate consisting of various botanicals such as Persian lime, orange peel, vanilla, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and last but not least, the traditional, spicy Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chili spice. This spice reveals a fruity aroma without any bitterness. On the nose, Winter Spiced Rum is very intense, a typical Jamaican rum with citrus notes and lovely hints of ginger and spices. The palate also detects the typical pot-still rum from Jamaica, pleasantly sweet, with wonderful citrus and vanilla notes, which present themselves as delightfully wintery and spicy.

He was one of the first importers of authentic Jamaican rum to Central Europe and also a supplier of genuine rum to the Austrian Imperial Navy. The famous and well-traveled founder, Albert Michler, was affectionately known as "Old Bert" by his friends, and in his honor, a series of excellent Michler Rums has been created and named after him. This 100% Jamaican rum is a blend of pot still and column still distillates. On the nose, Michler's Old Bert Rum is very aromatic with fruity hints. The palate reveals the typical Jamaican rum style: slightly smoky and fruity with lovely vanilla notes. And as one connoisseur in Jamaica would say: "Real funky man!"

This Michler Old Bert Summer Spiced is a premium spirit made from 100% Jamaican pot still rum and infused with exotic spices such as Persian limes, cloves, cardamom, ginger, grapefruit, guava, and peppercorns. On the nose, it is intense and fresh with notes of classic rum, tropical fruits, and sweet sugarcane. On the palate, it presents itself as a typical pot still rum: pleasantly slightly sweet, citrusy, tropically fruity, and slightly spicy. This results in a perfectly balanced flavor of rum, spices, and tropical fruits, with dominant notes of red grapefruit and guava. Michler’s Old Bert Cream Spiced Liqueur draws on this history and pays homage to Albert Michler, whom his friends traditionally called “Old Bert.” The base of this cream liqueur is aged Jamaican rum, refined with a cream-spiced infusion, natural vanilla, and select spice notes. Cream and egg yolk give it its characteristic creamy texture. On the nose, delicate vanilla aromas blend with caramel, milk cream, and aged Jamaican rum, while subtle hints of spice add depth.
