This Old Bert is blended with a natural macerate consisting of various botanicals such as Persian lime, orange peel, vanilla, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and last but not least, the traditional, spicy Trinidad Scorpion Moruga chili spice. This spice reveals a fruity aroma without any bitterness. On the nose, Winter Spiced Rum is very intense, a typical Jamaican rum with citrus notes and lovely hints of ginger and spices. The palate also detects the typical pot-still rum from Jamaica, pleasantly sweet, with wonderful citrus and vanilla notes, which present themselves as delightfully wintery and spicy.
