Product information "Silkie Lagrima White Port Cask Finish Irish Whiskey 0.7L"
Sliabh Liag Distillers, based in Donegal, presents Silkie—an Irish whiskey that draws on the region’s smoky tradition and combines it with unique cask-aging processes. After maturation, the Silkie Legendary Peated Irish Whiskey Lágrima White Port Cask Finish undergoes an exceptionally long 26-month finish in Lágrima White Port casks. This creates an exciting balance of fresh fruit, delicate sweetness, dry notes, and the smoky character typical of Silkie. On the nose, the whiskey is rich, syrupy, and intense, with notes of baked apples, candied cherries, kumquats, and cranberries. On the palate, honey-sweet pecans, fresh pine notes, dried orange slices, earthy nuances, paprika, and walnuts follow. The finish combines ashy, sweet smoke with an elegant, slightly dusty sweetness, resulting in a long, distinctive finish. The warm, reddish-golden color underscores the expressive character of this special bottling. Served neat or with a few drops of water, the interplay of fruit, nuts, sweetness, and smoke can be fully appreciated.

Silkie Dark Lightly Peated Blended Irish Whiskey 0.7L -GB-
Sliabh Liag Distillers have taken a bold step with The Legendary Dark Blended Silkie, aiming to surprise whisky connoisseurs with a rich, smoky, and peated Irish whiskey. Inspired by the classic Donegal whiskey style of yesteryear, Sliabh Liag Distillers have created something new: blending the finest double-distilled and triple-distilled peated single malts, matured in sherry casks, with smooth grain whiskey. They use Irish peat derived from heather rather than forest floor, resulting in a sweeter and less oaky peat than Scottish peat. The Legendary Dark Silkie is the second release in the Silkie Whiskey Collection. The nose offers beautiful aromas of fresh apples and pears with spicy, dry notes of smoke reminiscent of young oak. Light notes of sweet pipe tobacco, licorice, and dark chocolate are followed by wonderfully warm toffee and pear aromas. The finish is warm and elegant with hints of malty smoke and peanut butter. To fully appreciate its unique flavors, Dark Blended Silkie is best served neat or over ice. A careful mix with sweet vermouth and a fruity bitters also lends an intriguing smoky note to the classic Manhattan. Dark Silkie simply adds a new dimension to any classic whiskey cocktail.

The Legendary Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey Non Chill Filtered Miniatures 0.05L
The Legendary Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey Non Chill Filtered comes from the Sliabh Liag Distillery, founded in 2014 on the peninsula of the same name. Even during the distillery's development phase, they began blending carefully selected double and triple distilled, lightly peated malts with smooth grain whiskey to create an exceptionally smooth Irish whiskey. Bottled in a tall, elegant bottle, the label's blue-green hues reflect the sea at the foot of the imposing Sliabh Liag Cliffs. The non-chill filtered whiskey is particularly smooth and characterful. In the glass, it displays a straw-gold color with a hint of amber. The nose is fresh and malty with aromas of green apples, accompanied by a honeyed, buttery note. On the palate, it is soft and rounded with notes of warm, honeyed gingerbread, delicate orange zest, brioche, and butterscotch. Enjoy The Legendary Silkie neat or on the rocks. For an Old Fashioned, the distillery recommends using rhubarb or cherry bitters, as classic Angostura bitters would overpower the delicate character of this whiskey.

The Legendary Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey Ruby Port Cask Finish Non Chill Filtered 0.7L -GB-
This Legendary Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey Ruby Port Cask Finish Non Chill Filtered takes the Silkie Irish Whiskey range in a new stylistic direction. Instead of focusing exclusively on the well-known Donegal region, the emphasis here is on the careful selection of casks, which further develops and deepens the characteristic Silkie flavor profile. Maturation in various casks, including Ruby Port casks, gives this blend an elegant, rose-gold hue and a complex interplay of aromas. On the nose and palate, juicy notes of cherries and blackcurrants emerge, complemented by floral and slightly resinous hints. These blend harmoniously with the typical salty-caramel sweetness, green apple, and ginger. The finish develops a pleasantly peaty, smoky character, lending the whiskey depth and length. The Silkie Ruby is particularly expressive when enjoyed neat or slightly chilled, but gains additional complexity with a small drop of water, which opens up the aromas even more finely.
